The media has been quite busy reporting on the pope’s every waking hour.
Well, we are honored to be reporting on his every sleeping hour. Because on Saturday night in Philadelphia, each of those hours of papal sleep took place on a Loom and Leaf memory foam mattress.
It all began when Bedding Industries of America inquired as to the Pope’s preference. His Holiness, it turns out, likes memory foam. Firm, to be exact.
So to guarantee the Pope a silent night – an extremely silent night – BIA asked Saatva to build a queen-size Loom and Leaf relaxed firm mattress, made with laminated cooling spinal gel and a lush organic cotton-quilted cover.
“We are humbled and honored to be called to serve the Pope by providing him with healthy comfort,” says Ron Rudzin, CEO of Saatva, “The luxury mattress he slept on is fit for a king and for the everyday person too. It helped him be well rested and ready to greet the millions in Philadelphia.”
With the choice of Loom and Leaf, the media’s focus turned a bit to the Pope’s sleeping hours as well.
“Philly’s got your back, Your Holiness,” said The Washington Post.
“A heavenly mattress for Pope Francis,” mentioned Fox News.
We have always been proud to communicate the benefits of our eco-friendly Loom and Leaf mattresses. But maybe for just one moment, would we be justified in pontificating about them.
