We are thrilled to announce that our Loom and Leaf company has had the opportunity to join a really unique movement: the “Tiny House Nation”. For those not familiar, here’s the Tiny House Nation description:
“There’s a trend in the U.S. housing market, albeit a very small one. Drawn to the prospect of financial freedom, a simpler lifestyle, and limiting one’s environmental footprint, more buyers are opting to downsize — in some cases, to spaces no larger than 300 square feet — and this series celebrates the “tiny house” movement. Hosts and renovation professionals John Weisbarth and Zack Giffin travel across America to show ingenious small dwellings and their creative inhabitants. They also help families design and construct their own dream mini-homes.”
While familiar with tiny homes and this robust new movement, our Loom and Leaf team took a step outside of our comfort zone to join — and we are glad we did. We see that less is more when you are one with the land around you. The needs vs. wants strips down and you uncover what’s truly important each night: great sleep.
It made a lot of sense as to why the bed would be such an important piece of the final home. This sustainable, downsized way of living was a big stretch for just about everyone who’s never lived in one. We were proud to supply our eco-friendly mattress to be a part of the journey.
Some of our marketing team in Austin, Texas even got to be involved and hand-deliver our Loom and Leaf mattress in the “World Traveler’s Home” episode, which was a blast. You’ll be able to see that and more if you join us in our journey to provide great sleep throughout Season 3 of #TinyHouseNation on Saturdays at 9/8c on FYI Television Network!
