Centerville, Utah – “Family-Friendly House” Overview
This week, the Tiny House Nation crew teamed up in Centerville, Utah to create a 200 SQFT “Family-Friendly House” for the soon to be family of four — Adam, excepting Gabrielle, and their daughter.
Adam and Gabrielle decided to go “tiny” mainly because the thought of having everything they needed within an arm’s reach appealed to them. But they also wanted to have their own unique space where they could grow comfortably with their kids. Adam and Gabrielle also wanted the home design to reflect their parenting style meaning they wanted it be kid-friendly.
“I just need to really hammer home the idea that it’s important that the kids are integrated into everything or else this home isn’t ours,” Gabrielle explained.
Adam and Gabrielle also had a few other requests for the tiny house of their dreams:
- Craftsman style/design
- Two separate bedroom lofts
- Functionality for expecting mother and child
- Decent sized bathroom
Overall, we love the design of this “Family-Friendly Home” and wish we lived here! Our favorite part? Definitely the baby hammock — it’s stylish, functional, and fits in perfectly in the master bedroom.
