Salt Lake City, Utah – “Tiny Ski Lodge” Overview
Tiny House Nation took over Salt Lake City, Utah this past Saturday to craft the perfect 240SQFT “Tiny Ski Lodge” for adventure ski seekers — Chris and Tamara. Being huge fans of skiing, snowboarding, and the mountains it seemed like a no-brainer for the couple to join the tiny house living.
Converting to the tiny house life would also help the couple save money and be able to travel to the perfect ski locations around the US.
“Being outside is one of the most important things in our lives,” Chris explains. “So, to be able to put our house somewhere where we can ski right out the front door — it’s a dream come true.”
Luckily for them, Zack is a ski expert and could use his knowledge to create a ski lodge that would battle the outdoor elements and be comfortable, cozy, and functional inside for the ski fanatics.
“My motivation to go tiny absolutely was about pursuing a dream of becoming a professional skier,” he explained. “In order to do that I had to actually take away a lot of the demands of my life so that I was able to follow that passion.”
In addition to creating a ski lodge that could house all their ski gear, the couple requested the following:
- Ample desk space
- Reading space
- Lots of windows to view scenery
- Hot tub
We absolutely love this tiny ski lodge! It packs all the essentials for great sleep + the outdoorsy ski life. Take a look at Chris and Tamara’s dreamy ski lodge below!
