We bought our Loom & Leaf when I was pregnant with my daughter. This mattress literally helped me get through my pregnancy without any back pain, that I did have my first pregnancy. 3 years later and I haven’t had any back pain and I really credit this mattress partially. It has gone up in price I’d still recommend it. The only thing is I would definitely try the one with the cooling layer as I do ocassionally get with my mattress. Thanks Loom & Leaf!
I've had my Loom & Leaf mattress for a year now, waited to review to really see how it was. I like it well enough. It's a nice, high quality mattress and I do get a decent night's sleep on it. There are no pressure points and nothing hurts more when I get up than it did when I went to bed. The ordering, delivery and set-up were great; excellent service. Those are strong positive recommendations and for many people reading this we can stop there and say: buy this mattress. But I can't add to the rave reviews that were the only reviews I was able to read on the site. (Are there no negative comments at all? Or are they buried at the bottom of pages and pages so that no one sees them? I tried but couldn't find them.) I got the Relaxed Firm. It is much firmer than my old, original Tempur-Pedic. That's good, in that I don't sink into it nearly as much when sitting up to read. It's less good lying down. Without a bit more of the "squish" this feels more like a regular mattress than a memory foam one to me. It's not uncomfortable and it is supportive, but even after a year I feel it's a bit too firm. The main reason I chose this brand was because of the cooling claim. I was boiling in the Tempur foam. This is cooler than that was for sure, but it isn't actually cool. I get up once almost every night. When I return to bed a few minutes later, the spot where I was sleeping is warm. Very warm. That's better than boiling hot, but it really isn't cool. I sleep alone so I usually move over a bit to avoid the hot spot, but I would tell women of a certain age not to expect a miracle. On another issue, I see that L&L sells quilted mattress pads on the site (at a crazy price). These were not yet offered a year ago. At that time when I inquired about a mattress cover I was warned by customer service NOT to use a quilted pad as it would interfere with the foam's reactivity. They recommended a smooth, thin cotton cover sold by another site, which I bought. It is only just barely deep enough to fit on the mattress which is kind of annoying, but I manage. I find it strange that they now sell what they told me not to buy. Prospective buyers may want to inquire about this. Bottom line: very good mattress that doesn't quite live up to its hype.
We were looking for the right mattress after our Stearns and Foster bed failed after 10 years. We tried several bed in a box companies and on the third try we bought the Loom and Leaf after my wife's Chiropractor recommended. Well, we got it right with this bed. We bought the split king and we are so happy with this bed, we are finally back to normal sleep. Bed shopping is the worse but this company makes it easy and the delivery company was also professional when delivering. I can say our experience went well with Sastva and I’m sure your experience will go well too!
I am a male, 72 years old, and sleep on my back as well as both of my sides. This is the first foam mattress I have ever owned. Also, I was concerned that it would be too hot to sleep on (I live in Georgia) in the summer time. The 120 day return policy gave me peace of mind to take the plunge. After 5 months, I can tell you that this is the most comfortable mattress I have every owned. You feel like you are sleeping on a cloud. It provides a very soft feel, as well as good support. I used to get up every morning with both back and neck pain, and thought it was my age and arthritis. After a trip to Europe in the spring and sleeping on what appeared to be foam mattresses in hotels there, I started researching foam beds when I got home because I felt so good in the mornings on my trip. I settled on the Loom and Leaf mattress, and am extremely pleased with my purchase. No more back or neck pain! It is not hot at all to sleep on, especially in the summer time. And I like the fact that you never have to flip this mattress, only turn it 180 degrees once a year. I highly recommend this mattress.
Today, I wrote a review of dissatisfaction primarily based on current pricing. First of all, as a repeat customer I love the Loom and Leaf mattress - it’s the best bed I’ve ever owned. Today when ordering another L&L mattress and box spring to replace a “premium” bed from another manufacturer I was surprised by the current price. I still placed the order because I love the product but wrote an unflattering review on the pricing. To my surprise I was immediately contacted by a company executive interested in addressing my concerns. They wanted to hear and understand my feedback and then addressed my concerns one by one. They effectively helped me understand the legitimate justifications for raising the price since my last purchase. I found this experience to be refreshing, they genuinely were interested in my feedback and my satisfaction as a customer. I will continue to purchase their products and if given the chance will enthusiastically endorse their products and customer experience
Right cost point and absolutely the best customer service ever from the moment I began questioning things about the mattress to true white glove delivery service. Love my mattress and absolutely thrilled that in this time of incompetence they were absolutely perfect from start to finish.
We were excited to get a quality mattress delivered at a good price and after reading reviews that waking up early or going to bed later we would not disturb each other. However, even with the relaxed firm, we often wake up stiff or wake up in the middle of the night with my arm numb. I haven’t had that happen on previous mattresses. Great delivery, mattress has held up great for the past 9 months, but it seems the relaxed firm may be too firm for us to comfortably sleep.
I've had my Loom and Leaf mattress for over 3 years and it's as great as the first night I slept on it. I recommend this mattress to people constantly. The bed is great, and the customer service is better. You will not regret buying this mattress.
